We respect your right to have your personal data deleted from our systems.
Your Data Deletion Rights
Under Australian Privacy Principles and data protection regulations, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. We will process your request within 30 days.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed:
- Your account information (name, phone number, email, date of birth)
- Appointment history and booking records
- Service preferences and notes
- Marketing communication preferences
- Any messages or communications stored in our system
What Data May Be Retained
We may need to retain certain information for legal and business purposes:
- Transaction records required for tax and accounting purposes (anonymized)
- Records required to defend against legal claims
- Information necessary to prevent fraud or abuse
Any retained data will be anonymized where possible and kept only for the legally required period.
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Email Request (Recommended)
Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
Subject: Data Deletion Request
Body:
- Your full name
- Phone number associated with your account
- Email address (if you provided one)
- Statement: "I request the deletion of all my personal data"
Option 2: In-Person Request
Visit us at our salon location and speak with a staff member. Please bring identification to verify your identity.

Verification Process
To protect your privacy and ensure security, we will verify your identity before processing any deletion request:
- We may send an OTP (One-Time Password) to your registered phone number
- We may ask you to confirm recent appointment details
- For in-person requests, photo identification may be required
What Happens After Deletion
Please note the following consequences of data deletion:
- You will no longer be able to log into your account
- Your appointment history will be permanently lost
- Any future bookings will be cancelled
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to book services in the future
- We will no longer be able to send you appointment reminders
Timeline
Your data deletion request will be processed within 30 days of verification. You will receive confirmation via your preferred contact method once the deletion is complete.
